SKETCHY TUESDAY
Sketchy Tuesday is an urban sketching adventure. Gather with a group of architects, sketchers, designers, and enthusiasts to sketch the city and chat with a great community. Grab your lunch, sketchbook, and drawing utensils, and meet at one of San Francisco’s beautiful outdoor public spaces. Sketch sessions are free and open to the public. See San Francisco with an architectural eye! Celebrating the 20th Annual Architecture + the City Festival, the Museum of Craft and Design partners with the Center for Architecture + Design and the American Institute of Architects/San Francisco Chapter to bring Sketchy Tuesday to the Ferry Building. Sketch the views and buildings visible from the Ferry Building with Architect Dan Hogman and create a Journey Journal inspired by the creative practice of local artist Cheryll Derricotte. Registration is not required — look for the MakeArt van in front of the Ferry Building and start sketching!
